Video Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is The Electric Bicycle Co.

For all competition enquiries, entrants can contact TEBCO by email at info@electricbicycle.com.au.

2. Competition type

This promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

The winning entry will be selected based on creative merit, originality, storytelling, suitability for TEBCO marketing, and how well the video captures the enjoyment, benefits, lifestyle, or experience of owning or using a TEBCO electric bicycle or tricycle.

3. Competition period

The competition opens on the date it is first advertised by TEBCO and has now been extended.

Entries close at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2026. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

4. Who can enter

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

By entering, entrants confirm they are eligible to enter and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

5. How to Enter

To enter, entrants must create a 30-60 second video that features a TEBCO electric bicycle or TEBCO electric tricycle.

Entrants may submit their video by either:

• Posting the video on social media and tagging @theelectricbicycleco; and/or
• Emailing the video entry to info@electricbicycle.com.au.

If an entrant posts on social media, their account or post must be visible to TEBCO so the entry can be viewed and judged. If TEBCO cannot view the entry, the entrant may be asked to email the video directly.

Multiple entries are allowed, provided each entry is a different and original video. Each entrant is only eligible to win one prize.

6. Video requirements

Each entry must:

• Be between 30 and 60 seconds long.
• Feature a TEBCO electric bicycle or tricycle.
• Be the entrant’s own original work.
• Show safe and responsible use of the bicycle or tricycle.
• Show all riders wearing an approved bicycle helmet where riding is shown.
• Comply with applicable road rules and safety requirements.
• Not show dangerous, illegal, offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
• Not include copyrighted music, footage, logos, or material unless the entrant has permission to use it.
• Not include any person who has not given permission to appear in the video.

TEBCO reserves the right to reject any entry that it reasonably considers unsafe, inappropriate, offensive, misleading, unlawful, or unsuitable for the TEBCO brand.

7. Suggested video ideas

Entrants may choose their own creative idea. Suggested ideas include:

• How TEBCO has improved your life.
• Your favourite ride, feature, or experience.
• A creative, funny, inspiring, or heartfelt story.
• Why you love your TEBCO electric bicycle or tricycle.
• The lifestyle benefits of owning or riding a TEBCO.

These ideas are suggestions only and are not strict requirements.

8. Prize

The prize is one TEBCO Discovery Alba Electric Bike, valued at $2,499 AUD.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

Colour, size, specifications, and availability may be subject to stock availability. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside TEBCO’s reasonable control, TEBCO reserves the right to substitute the prize with a product of equal or greater value.

Delivery or collection of the prize will be arranged with the winner. TEBCO may require the prize to be collected from the TEBCO showroom or a nominated TEBCO dealer, or may arrange delivery within Australia at its discretion.

9. Judging

Entries will be judged by TEBCO representatives after the competition closes.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

• Creativity and originality.
• How well the video captures the TEBCO riding experience.
• Storytelling and emotional impact.
• Video quality and clarity.
• Suitability for TEBCO marketing and social media use.
• Safe and responsible riding.

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Winner notification

The winner will be notified by email, phone, direct message, or social media comment within a reasonable time after judging has been completed.

The winner’s name and/or social media handle may be announced on TEBCO’s website, social media pages, and marketing channels.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, TEBCO reserves the right to select another winning entry.

11. Use of entries

By entering, entrants grant TEBCO a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, share, and distribute their submitted video, images, name, social media handle, captions, and related content for marketing, advertising, promotional, social media, website, and business purposes.

This includes use across TEBCO’s website, social media pages, paid advertising, email marketing, dealer communications, and other promotional materials.

Entrants confirm they have the rights and permissions required to grant this licence.

12. Permissions and consent

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that:

• Any people appearing in the video have consented to being filmed and submitted into the competition.
• Any private property, business location, or third-party material shown in the video has been used with permission where required.
• Any children appearing in the video have parent or guardian consent.
• The entry does not breach another person’s rights, including privacy, copyright, or intellectual property rights.

13. Safety

TEBCO supports safe and responsible riding.

Any video showing unsafe riding, riding without a helmet, unlawful road use, reckless behaviour, or misuse of an electric bicycle or tricycle may be disqualified.

14. Social media disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or any other social media platform.

Entrants release Instagram, Facebook, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and any other relevant social media platform from any liability connected with this promotion.

15. Privacy

Personal information collected by TEBCO will be used for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting entrants, judging entries, awarding the prize, and using submitted content for promotional purposes.

TEBCO may publish the winner’s name, social media handle, entry, and related content in connection with the promotion.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with TEBCO’s Privacy Policy.

16. General conditions

TEBCO reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrant eligibility.

TEBCO may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits false information, breaches these Terms & Conditions, or acts in a way that is dishonest, inappropriate, unsafe, or damaging to TEBCO’s reputation.

TEBCO is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, or incorrectly submitted entries.

If the competition cannot run as planned due to circumstances beyond TEBCO’s reasonable control, TEBCO may modify, suspend, or cancel the competition where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
